FORMER TISD EMPLOYEES INVITED BACK JUNE 1ST |
|
Taylor ISD will be holding its 27th Annual Employee Appreciation Banquet Monday (June 1st) at 7 p.m. in the Naomi Pasemann cafeteria and Community Services Director Larry Robbins has issued an invitation to all former and retired Taylor ISD employees. No RSVP is necessary!
"Recognizing our former employees in appreciation for their service to public education and the children of Taylor is an on-going part of our annual effort," said Robbins. "Unfortunately, we have found that our addresses of former employees are outdated in many instances and some people go away feeling left out. We want them all to know they are invited and we encourage them to come out and visit old friends." |

APPROPRIATE DRESS FOR HIGH SCHOOL GRADUATION |
|
Taylor High School is once again using the "dress" guidelines that it has used in past years. Students have been asked to abide by these guidelines because graduation is a tradional formal event. Counselors and school administrators have agreed that for the ceremony to be dignified, the graduates are expected to adhere to the following: • Male graduates are asked to wear dark colored dress slacks and shoes with a white shirt and tie. • Female graduates are asked to wear a light colored dress or skirt that is not longer than the hem of the graduation gown and white or light colored shoes. They may also choose to wear a light colored dress blouse and dark colored dress slacks with dark shoes. • Shorts, jeans, t-shirts, sunglasses, flip-flops and other extremely informal attire deemed inappropriate for the occasion will NOT be permitted. Students or parents with questions or concerns should contact THS counselor Wendy Holt at 365-1291. |
