Special events on Fun Fridays have delighted THJ students! Mysterious signs in the cafeteria each week announced such activities as world travel, authors and books, Native American games and colonial foods, Egyptian foods and mummies, fire safety, archaeology, a Taylor facts scavenger hunt, and “shocking” electricity experiments. .

Enriching Our Experiences Every afternoon at THJ Duck University is for developing thinking skills and reinforcing content being studied in the classroom, whether in Academic Enrichment groups, Homework Club, or Special Events Fridays. As shown by the wonderful projects and performances of our students at the November Parent Meeting, Duck University offers many, varied opportunities to learn new ideas and skills. Students choose enrichment topic groups each nine weeks. Every school day brings different adventures! Here are some of our special enrichment teachers and what they teach:
