Safety is Top Priority in TISD

At Taylor ISD, safety is always a top priority—and that starts with making sure our students and staff know what to do in any situation.

The first week of school has been full of important information and expectations at every level, and safety has been a key part of that. Campuses have been reviewing the Standard Response Protocol (SRP), practicing drills, and setting clear expectations so that everyone is prepared and confident if an emergency should arise.

✅ The SRP uses simple, clear actions like Hold, Secure, Lockdown, Evacuate, and Shelter. Take a moment to review these terms with your family so you’ll know exactly what they mean. Learn more on our Taylor ISD Safety webpage 👉 http://bit.ly/45CZFdu

⚠️ Staying connected is also key. Be sure to log into the Parent Portal Log in to your Parent Portal 👉 http://bit.ly/4muPizC to confirm your contact information is up to date. This ensures you’ll receive important alerts and notifications when they matter most.

👀 And remember—see something, say something! Taylor ISD has an Anonymous Tip Line where you can quickly and safely report any concerns: 👉 https://www.taylorisd.org/Domain/98

Together, we can keep our Duck community safe, informed, and ready. 🦆
