On Monday, March 20th, the Taylor ISD Board of Trustees approved attendance zones for Main Street and Naomi Pasemann Elementary.  You may see those through this UPDATED link.

A detailed map and letters to families with the correct zones will be available in the month of April.

If my student started at NPE, and is now zoned to MSI, can I transfer back to NPE to finish elementary school?

Yes, you can apply to remain at NPE until your child finishes 5th grade. Please complete the transfer form. Requests will be approved based upon available space by May 26th.

Will transfers between elementary schools be allowed?

• Transfers will be allowed under extenuating personal circumstances. 

• Parents would need to complete the transfer form.

• This type of transfer will be approved by the superintendent or the superintendent’s designee.

• This type of transfer will be evaluated on a yearly basis.

Will special programs be housed at only one of the schools? 

In order to better utilize our resources, we will have special programs housed at one school.  

• The LifeSkills Program will be housed at NPE 

• These placements will be reviewed yearly to determine if they meet student needs.

Where do families who transfer outside of the TISD attendance zone attend?

• The students who reside of west of Highway 95 will attend NPE.

• The students who reside of east of Highway 95 will attend MSI.

• Parents would need to complete the transfer form

• This type of transfer will be approved by the superintendent or the superintendent’s designee.

• This type of transfer will be evaluated on a yearly basis.
