  • Parent "No Access" Campus Library Request

    This form allows parents or guardians to restrict access to specific books for their child and will not permit them to check them out or read them from the school library.

    Before completing this form, please follow these steps:

    1. Check the school's library catalog to confirm that the book is available in the library collection.

    2. If the book is available, complete this form to notify the school librarian and your child’s teacher.

    Este formulario permite a los padres o tutores restringir el acceso a libros específicos para su hijo(a). 

    Antes de completar este formulario, por favor siga estos pasos:

  • Books and Digital Resources

                                                                                                  

    Alexandria is our online catalog. Students, staff, and parents can search for physical library books that are currently in our library.

     

                                                                                                 

    Sora provides access to ebooks & audiobooks for all ages. Students and staff can log in to Sora through ClassLink to view available content. Once a student logs in, they will see the ebooks/audiobooks that are appropriate for their campus age range. Books do require a checkout and will automatically be returned when due. This is an online library and does not contain all of the same books available in campus physical libraries.

     

                                                                                           

    TISD subscribes to the TexQuest Databases offered through the Texas State Library & Archives Commission. This is a statewide digital resources program that provides anytime, anywhere access to high-quality digital resources to all educators and students. Students can access the TexQuest Databases through ClassLink. When using TexQuest, students will have access to the databases below.
