Exciting Updates from Dr. Garcia at the Taylor Chamber of Commerce March Luncheon

Thank you to the Taylor Chamber of Commerce & Visitor Center for hosting Superintendent Dr. Jennifer Garcia-Edwardsen for the State of the District reports at this month's luncheon!
Dr. Garcia-Edwardsen shared exciting updates about the future of Taylor ISD, highlighting:
✅ Student Achievement – Growth in Pre-K benchmarks, academic program enhancements, and a focus on college and career readiness.
✅ Bond Project Progress – Ongoing improvements to facilities, ensuring safe, modern, and engaging learning environments for all students.
✅ District Growth & Projections – Anticipated enrollment increases and projected new housing developments that will shape our district over the next decade.
✅ Staff Empowerment – Continued investment in professional development, mentoring, and resources to support and retain top educators.
A special highlight was THS student Jeremiah Ruiz, who did an OUTSTANDING job sharing his high school experience at Taylor High School!
