When does registration open for the 2023-2024 school year?
- New student registration begins April 6, 2023.
- Transfer student applications open May 23, 2023

If my student was previously enrolled with Taylor ISD AND did not complete the 2022-2023 school year with Taylor ISD and wants to re-enroll for 2023-2024 school year, how do I enroll my student?
If the student has ever been enrolled with TISD, the parent/guardian will need contact the campus the student will attend prior to enrolling online.
For example, my student is currently a 7th grader but was previously enrolled with Taylor ISD as a 3rd grader, then the parent/guardian would need to contact the campus the student will attend prior to enrolling online.

If I am an employee, should I create a new account to register my students?
No, employees should use their employee credentials to enroll/register their students. If you created an account before being employed by the district, please email registration@taylorisd.org.

Do I need to create a new Parent Self Serve (PSS) account for each student I enroll/register?
No, please use your existing PSS account to enroll all of your students. If you need assistance adding all students to one account, please contact registration@taylorisd.org.

What age does my child need to be to register for Pre-K or Kindergarten for the 2023 – 2024 school year?
- Pre-K students must be either 3 or 4 years old on or before September 1, 2023
- Kindergarten students must be 5 years old on or before September 1, 2023

What Pre-K options are available for the 2023 -2024 school year?
Taylor ISD offers Pre-K 3 and Pre-K 4 programs.
- Pre-K for 3 year olds is free to eligible students and is a half-day program. We offer morning and afternoon sessions.
- Pre-K for 4 year olds is free to eligible students and is a full-day program.
- Note: We also offer a paid option for those who are not eligible and also to transfer students from other districts. Tuition is $400 per month, or $4000 for the year.

When can I register my Pre-K or Kindergarten student for the 2023 – 2024 school year?
2022 -2023 New student registration begins on April 1, 2022.
There will be two opportunities for in-person registration at T.H. Johnson Elementary. Bilingual assistance will be provided.
- Monday, April 18, 2023 from 4pm – 7pm
- Thursday, May 18, 2023 from 4pm – 7pm

What documents are required for New Student Registration?

What is acceptable documentation for Proof of Residency?
A current utility bill (gas, water, electric or sewer), lease contract or mortgage statement.

What can I submit for Proof of Residency if I live with someone else?
Please ask the person you are living with in the Taylor ISD school zone to complete the Taylor ISD Certificate of Residence. The form must be notarized if it is not completed in the presence of Taylor ISD staff. The legal resident must provide a valid photo ID as well as a current utility bill in their name.

How do I upload my registration documents?
You may scan and attach your documents in the ‘Attachments’ section of the online registration form. Select the type of document you wish to upload and attach the corresponding document. Be sure to add the student’s name in the name of the uploaded document.

My student is a returning student. How do I verify their information?
The legal parent/guardian of the student may log into Parent Self Serve (PSS) and go to the Registration tab to verify their student’s information.
After entering the registration page, if all students are not in the dropdown list, please contact registration@taylorisd.org.

When enrolling/registering my student who may I list as contacts?
· Parent/Guardian Contacts
o ONLY those with current legal guardianship.
For example: Biological, Adopted or Foster Parents
· Emergency Contacts
o Adults who can be contacted if a parent/guardian cannot be contacted.
· Medical Contacts
o Adults designated to be contacted in the event of a medical emergency.

How can I add a contact in Online Registration?
For each contact type, click on Add a Contact, located near the upper left-hand corner of the contact section.

How will I know when my student is officially registered?
You will receive a confirmation email with a confirmation number when your student’s registration is complete.
