Hi!  I am Laurie Morris, Counselor for last names Ge-Q.  This is my 3rd year in Taylor and my 11th year as a school counselor.  My husband and I keep bees on our 10 acres in Blue, where we live with our 3 dogs and 3 barn cats.  He is a retired Marine and now works for TxDOT.  We go to church in Coupland.  My son and his wife live in Elgin and my daughter lives in Austin.  I am a graduate of Columbine High School, Texas Christian University and Lamar University.  I started my career as an educator in Azle, then moved to Elgin, where my kids went K-12, before I came to Taylor.  My favorite thing about being in Taylor is wearing green and being a duck!
