Dear Parents and Guardians, 

Our goal in physical education is for everyone to learn to make healthy choices and feel successful when participating in a variety of activities. This enables students to develop a positive attitude toward physical activity and develop healthy habits, which will hopefully continue throughout their lives. 

This is my 12th year at Taylor Middle School and my 22nd year in the Taylor Independent School District. Before my arrival in Taylor, I obtained my Bachelor of Science Degree in Exercise and Sports Science from Southwest Texas State University.

I anticipate a great school year in Physical Education with your child! Your help and cooperation is vital to the success of our physical education program. Hi! I’m Emily Robison - your Taylor Middle School girls PE teacher and girls athletics coach. This is my 4th year as a middle school teacher/coach and my 3rd year at TMS. I am a University of Texas at Tyler graduate where I was a 4-year volleyball letterman. I grew up in Lake Jackson, TX and love outdoor activities and DOGS! I absolutely love kids and am passionate about developing athletes and teaching them to enjoy an active lifestyle no matter your level of fitness. I feel blessed to be part of the family atmosphere at TMS – GO DUCKS!
