Anita Volek

Anita Volek has served on the Taylor ISD Board of Trustees since 2006 and currently serves as Board Assistant Secretary. A proud 1978 Taylor High School graduate, she has maintained a lifelong connection to Taylor ISD and is the proud parent of four Taylor High School graduates.

Volek also serves as Executive Director of the Taylor Educational Enrichment (TEE) Foundation, supporting opportunities for Taylor ISD students and educators. In 2018, she was inducted into the Taylor High School Duck Hall of Fame in recognition of her contributions to the school and community.

An accomplished pianist and piano teacher, Volek is also active at First Baptist Church. She enjoys staying connected to students and staff by attending graduation, fine arts performances, sporting events, awards programs, competitions and banquets throughout the district.
