All school district staff will be issued an ID badge. Our Human Resources Specialist will take your picture after you complete orientation and print your ID. If you are new, you will be required to provide two forms of ID before you are eligible to pick up your badge.
Please keep in mind most campuses have secure access, meaning your badge works as a "key" to the building. Please notify the District Receptionist and/or Delia Ortiz if your badge is lost or misplaced.
Your first badge is given to you free of charge, with replacements costing $5 (cash only), unless you can provide the broken badge. -

Student Teaching and Campus Observation Process
(For college students and those accepted in an Alternative Certification Program)
Taylor ISD welcomes the opportunity to support those enrolled in college teacher education programs or an Alternative Certification Program (ACP) who need to fulfill requirements through classroom observations. In order to assist both you and the campus, the district has developed a process to facilitate student teaching and classroom observations.
If you are wishing to observe an TISD classroom, you must follow the process outlined below in order to provide for the safety of TISD students and to accommodate the schedules of the campuses and teachers on those campuses. If at any point you have questions, please contact HR for assistance by calling 512-352-6361 ext 1050 or via email: Angie Ramirez, aramirez@taylorisd.org
Both of these items must be completed in order to secure an assignment. Once we have received and reviewed your request, you will be contacted.
