Rachael Westerman
Rachael Westerman - Board Member
Rachael Westerman joined the Taylor ISD Board of Trustees in 2026. An 11-year Taylor resident, she has been actively involved with Taylor ISD as a parent, district ambassador, community advocate and partner through the Greater Taylor Chamber of Commerce. She is the proud parent of Benjamin Farris, a 2022 Legacy Early College High School graduate, and Raegan Westerman, a Taylor High School student involved in cheer and Lady Duck Volleyball.
Westerman serves as Membership Director for the Greater Taylor Chamber of Commerce, building on 27 years of experience in retail management and relationship-building. She is a 2025 graduate of the Center for Chamber of Commerce Excellence and is working toward her Institute for Organization Management certification.
Her community involvement has included serving as a Taylor ISD Ambassador, participating on district community committees, serving on the Taylor Economic Development Corporation Board of Directors and leading the TMS Cheer Booster Club. She is also the founder of Taylor-Aides and has supported community efforts including Project Playground for T.H. Johnson Elementary.
Westerman and her husband of 18 years, Brian, a Navy veteran and American Legion member, are active in the Taylor community. She is a member of First Baptist Church, where she serves on the Hospitality Committee, and enjoys supporting her daughter and other Taylor ISD students at school activities and events.
